Representation Agreement/Power of Attorney

General Information Canadian Bar Association
PDF version
For additional information on Power of Attorney and Enduring Power of Attourney, see People's Law School Publication, Power of Attorney and Representation Agreement Resource Centre's (RARC)publication, What is an Enduring Power of Attorney?. See also: Make and Register A Representation Agreement, also on RARC's site.

Representation Agreement Resource Centre (RARC)
The RARC is a non-profit society that provides information about the legal tools that allow you to make your own plans in the case of injury, accident, or disability: the power of attorney and the representation agreement. This site answers questions about both documents (how to make them and where to register them) and gives clear examples of the areas (financial, legal, health, and personal) that the different agreements can cover. Booklets and some documents are online.

Registering Your Representation Agreement/Power of Attorney Nidus e-Registry
On-line registry for Enduring Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements. The Registry is an efficient and simple way to communicate plans and wishes. It also offers a secure method for storing and safekeeping your document while allowing easy access to those you authorize.
