BC Old Age Pensioners Organization
Seniors' advocacy organization with 80 Branches across BC. OAPO's objectives are to promote in the best interests of all elder citizens of British Columbia all matters pertaining to their welfare. Some specific concerns are pensions, health care and home care, afforable housing, women's rights, taxation, social safety, and consultation.
COSCO Council of Senior Citizens' Organizations of BC
The Council is a federation of 72 member seniors organizations from various areas of the Province representing approximately 65,000 seniors. It has been working for seniors at the Provincial and Federal level since 1950.

Langley Coalition Against Abuse of Seniors
Multi-agency committee working to prevent elder abuse. Advocates and educates on behalf of seniors, addressing emotional, physical, and financial abuse. Serves Aldergrove, Cloverdale, Fort Langley, and Langley.
Indo-Canadian Seniors Society Surrey & Delta
Offers recreation programs and services in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English. Hosts speakers on various topics of interest to seniors. Senior counsellors provide assistance with completing income tax returns, as well as pension, MSP, and other forms.
South Asian Friendship Society Burnaby

The Leisure Access Card (LAC) Program is for Vancouver residents whose limited income may prevent them from participating in basic Park Board recreation programs and services. Seniors with a Ministry Transit Pass can apply directly at any community centre for their photocard or make an application with proof of low income. Applications are also available online.
